It is recommended to contact the third party you need to accept your remotely notarized document before engaging in our services. Refunds are not granted if a third party refuses to accept a remotely notarized document.
ACCEPTANCE OF DOCUMENTS OUT-OF-STATE OR INTERNATIONALLY using a Florida Remote Notary
It is always advised to consult with the third party whom you need to accept the Remotely Online Notarized (RON) document(s). Technically a document notarized by a remote online notary is legal in all USA States. Acceptance of a remotely notarized document Internationally may need to be Apostillised before the document is accepted. We are one of the few companies offering remote notarized Apostille service.
CUSTODIAN SERVICES FOR WILLS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS
Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com does NOT offer custodial services for Wills or other documents notarized by this company. SignIX, the remote notary service provider (RONSP) is required to be the custodian of the Oath Video and document(s) for ten years from the date of signing. The responsibility of being the custodian of documents signed using this remote notary service is that of the Grantor, Will - Executor; Estate - Personal Representative; or Trust - Trustee.
ACCEPTANCE AND DELIVERY OF DOCUMENTS VIA EMAIL OR SECURE FORM
When you deliver your documents to be digitally signed and notarized to Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com using either email or secure form provided by Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com you agree to indemnify Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com from all liability in the event the documents are lost, stolen or in any other way obtained by a third party not affiliated with Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com. Furthermore, if you request that Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com email the completed documents (signed, witnessed and notarized), you agree to indemnify Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com from all liability in the event the documents are lost, stolen or in any other way obtained by a third party not affiliated with Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com. It is recommended for security reasons that signers download a copy of their signed, witnessed and notarized documents from the portal after receiving an email alerting each signer that their document set is ready.
FEES FOR REMOTE NOTARY SERVICES.
MINIMUM Remote Notary Total Fee is $100 (we round up). It requires the same RON service providers services to remotely notarize one document or four documents. Over one hour to communicate, prepare documents and conduct the video meeting.
CANCELLATION FEE POLICY
When a remote notarization form is submitted it is assumed the signers have agreed to meet with the remote notary on a video call. Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com invests time sending emails, texts, electronically preparing documents, telephone conversations, invoicing or any combination. A $100 (one-hundred dollars) per hour fee is due regardless if the remote notarization is completed. It is at the discretion of Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com to require payment before the remote notarization or after the remote notarization is completed. Any hourly amount due to Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com will be deducted from any payment or invoiced after notice of cancelation of the remote notarization.
FAILURE TO PAY
Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com will extend credit to title companies and law firms by performing remote online notary services with or without witnesses before receiving payment. In the event payment has not been received 45 days from the date the remote notarization was completed, you grant permission, without any legal recourse or objection that Gold Medal Media Group LLC may contact the signers who appeared on camera and completed the remote online notarization, for payment and/or collection and/or legal fees.
CHALLENGING THE PAYMENT YOU MADE TO GOLD MEDAL MEDIA GROUP LLC
Filling a chargeback after services have been rendered is considered "friendly fraud" aka Chargeback fraud and by law GOLD MEDAL MEDIA GROUP LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com is required to validate or invalidate your claim. Contacting your bank to challenge the credit card or PayPal charge will result in your bank or PayPal instantly reversing the transactions and withdrawing funds from GOLD MEDAL MEDIA GROUP LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com bank account. If you challenge payment, you agree that Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com has the right to submit to our credit card processor proof of service rendered which may include your identification, video of zoom meeting, form submitted to request Apostille submission and any other information requested by our credit card processor. Once credit card processor returns funds back to GOLD MEDAL MEDIA GROUP LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com, you will be responsible for any associated charges (with your bank) PLUS $100 fee for our time in disputing your claim. We report unpaid balances over 90 days to the three major credit agencies.
REFUNDS FOR REMOTE ONLINE NOTARY (RON)
A refund or scheduling another RON session at no additional fee is only granted if client demonstrates that the error on the final RON document was made due to our inability to follow the client's instructions and not the client's lack of understanding of what was required in the RON process. The Notary is not responsible for the contents of the document or what parts of the document require to be completed. We do not issue a refund if the third party will not accept a remote notarized document. It is your responsibility to confirm acceptance of a remote notarized document before you engage our services. You are responsible for any banking fees occurring from a credit card that had proper approval from you to obtain payment and that Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com performed as agreed in the verbal, written, emailed or text communications.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com accepts Major Credit Cards (Mastercard. Visa. Discover & American Express) from verified title companies and law firms. We also accept Zelle Pay, Venmo, PayPal, Bank Wire or Apple Pay. A RON appointment is not scheduled until funds are confirmed paid.

INABILITY TO PERFORM REMOTE NOTARY SERVICES
Due to technical issues, over booking, illness or vacations there will be times when we are unable to perform a remote notarization. Submitting a secure form with information and documents doesn't guarantee remote notary service. In the event we are unable to complete a remote notarization, all submitted information and documents will be destroyed. Any payments will be returned in full. When possible, we will suggest another remote online notary service. Any remote online notary service we suggest is not affiliated with us and you agree to indemnify Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com from and against any and all damages, losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable attorneys fees resulting in using the remote notary service we suggested. Gold Medal Media Group LLC dba floridaremotenotary.com and thefloridaremotenotary.com does not receive any referral fee or compensation of any kind from the remote notary service we suggest.
JURISDICTION AND INDEMNITY
